A man was arrested after a road rage shooting incident Saturday evening. On Saturday 24th, 2014, a call was received by the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office that a male individual had allegedly shot at, and ran off the road, a vehicle being driven by a 16yoa juvenile near Vales Mills Rd in Radcliff. Deputies spoke with the 16yoa victim, who stated that an older male individual had chased them down the road, shooting at the vehicle while chasing them, and then running them off the road. An intense investigation was conducted and Deputies identified a suspect, Timothy Wilbur, age 50 of Radcliff. When Deputies attempted to detain Wilbur, he began to resist arrest and a taser had to be deployed. Wilbur was taken into custody. Charges of Attempted Murder, Felonious Assault, Improper Transportation of a Firearm, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Criminal Tools, and several other charges have been forwarded to the Vinton County Prosecuting Attorney for review. A bond hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the crash investigation. The case was handled by Sgt Matt Kight, Deputies Josh Nickell and Richard Hixson.
