Traffic stop leads to several Felony Arrests

A traffic stop leads to several arrests. On May 18, 2014, a traffic stop was conduct on a vehicle by Deputy Richard Hixson in the area of Duncan Square Trailer Court in McArthur. While on the traffic stop, Dep Hixson noticed a male individual who had a felony warrant, get out of another vehicle and go into a trailer at the Court. Dep Hixson requested assistance from McArthur Police Department Patrolman James Wes Kight, who went to the trailer and found the wanted suspect hiding in a closet. James Christopher Blazer, age 25 of McArthur, was arrested for an outstanding Felony warrant from Vinton County and several other Counties. Blazer is also a suspect in several Breaking and Enterings in Jackson and Pike Counties. During the search for the suspect, Dep Hixson and Ptl Kight also arrested Sara Boyer, age 28 of McArthur, on an outstanding warrant out of Chillicothe Ohio. Also during the investigation, Kayla Elizabeth Caudill, age 23 of McArthur, was arrested for Felony Obstruction of Justice after it was found that Caudill was trying to keep Blazer from being apprehended. Blazer and Caudill were taken to South Eastern Ohio Regional Jail and will have a bond hearing this tuesday. Boyer was turned over to Chillicothe Police Department.
